Buildings are constructed in towns and serve a variety of purposes, from generating resources for the player, to improving the attributes of that particular town. The following buildings can be constructed. Currently, Men and the Fallen can produce the same types of buildings.

Kingdoms of Men


Resource Buildings

Resource buildings can be constructed on top of tiles containing elemental shards or resources. Once constructed, they generate resources for the player. Resource buildings may require certain technologies (eg. different ranks in civilization) before they can be constructed.

Shrine

Constructed on elemental shards (air shards, earth shards, fire shards, and water shards). Produces ten mana corresponding to the type of elemental shard on which they are constructed. Increases the player's maximum mana of that type by ten.

Constructed on fertile land. Increases the amount of food produced by a city.

Palace

May only own one palace at any time.

Inn

Increases a city's income by one. Eventually will increase the chances that a city will produce a hero.

Houses

Houses increase a city's maximum population. More advanced houses give a prestige bonus. They have no function in the beta.

Increases a city's maximum population by ten. Slightly increases a city's prestige (+1 / turn).

Increases a city's maximum population by ten. Slightly increases a city's prestige (+1 / turn).

Increases a city's maximum population by ten. Significantly increases a city's prestige (+5 / turn).

Increases a city's maximum population by ten. Greatly increases a city's prestige (+10 / turn).

Military Buildings

Barracks

Allows the player to build units with different experience levels in the town which contains the barracks.

Empires of Fallen


Empire buildings are currently unavailable because they the Empire factions have been disabled.
